Education4Health is a European digital learning community where health and social care educators share, discover and co-create excellent vocational training – across borders, disciplines and regions.
Education4Health is a digital platform developed within the EUVECA Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) project. It connects educational institutions, healthcare providers and VET organisations across Europe in a shared space for knowledge, resources and innovation.
The core idea is simple: health care educators across Europe are developing excellent teaching materials every day — but too often, these never travel beyond local borders. Education4Health changes that.
The platform is not a commercial course provider. It is an open, collaborative development space — built on the values of accessibility, transparency and trust.
Non-biased promotion of partnerships and knowledge sharing across European health ecosystems.
Clear visibility into training opportunities, pathways and institutional cooperation across Europe.
Peer-reviewed learning resources that support excellence in vocational education and training.
High-quality learning for all — regardless of region, background or educational level.
The Education4Health platform at www.edu4health.eu is structured around three major areas forming a complete European learning ecosystem for health and social care.
Simulations, e-learning, VR exercises, podcasts, micro-credentials and full online courses — organised around 6 key megatrends shaping health care today and tomorrow.
Transparent structures for blended mobility — from online courses and summer schools to inter-institutional theses and inter-regional innovation projects.
A space where regions propose innovation projects, find partners and implement cross-border solutions with real health care impact.
Teachers in VET schools and lecturers in higher education providing health and social care education.
Training managers, coordinators and educators responsible for staff development in healthcare institutions.
Health and social sciences students at all educational levels (EQF 3–8), referred through their educators.
Healthcare professionals across all sectors seeking continuing professional development and lifelong learning.
The first phase of the Education4Health platform is made possible through the support of Care about IT (CaIT) — a Centres of Vocational Excellence initiative led by Noorderpoort in the Netherlands, bringing together health care VET institutions from across Europe.
Care about IT is revolutionising the healthcare landscape through technology, connecting VET partners in Finland, Estonia, Italy and the Netherlands in a shared mission to future-proof health care education.
